We rarely see the BCBA at our clinic. The RBT is kind, but the plan does not seem to change much. Is there a normal caseload or supervision amount parents should ask about?
What is a normal BCBA caseload at an ABA clinic?
Top answer, from Rachel L., BCBA
Read the full answerThere is no single magic number, but if a BCBA has so many clients that they rarely observe sessions or update programs, that is a problem. Ask how many cases each BCBA carries, how often they directly supervise your child, how parent training happens, and how quickly programs are changed when data stalls. High caseloads, constant staff turnover, and vague answers about supervision are red flags.
