Short version: we collect as little as possible, and we never sell it.

What we collect

• Email address — used to send sign-in links and (optionally) reply notifications. Never shown publicly.
• Display name and anything you post. Posts are public and indexed by search engines — that's the point of the site — so post accordingly.
• Standard technical logs (IP address, browser type) used for spam prevention and security, retained briefly.

Cookies

One cookie, used to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Third parties

The site runs on Cloudflare (hosting, bot protection); sign-in emails are delivered by our email provider. Both process data only to provide those services.

Your choices

You can use a pseudonym and a private email address. To delete your account or posts, contact the moderators or reply to any sign-in email, and we'll handle it promptly.

Children

Special Needs Forum is for adults (18+). We don't knowingly collect information from children — this is a community *about* raising kids, not for them.
