Short version: Special Needs Forum collects as little as possible, and Special Needs Forum never sells it.

What data does Special Needs Forum collect?

• Email address: used to send sign-in links and (optionally) reply notifications. Never shown publicly.
• Display name and anything you post. Posts are public and indexed by search engines, so post accordingly.
• Standard technical logs (IP address, browser type) used for spam prevention and security, retained briefly.

Cookies

One cookie, used to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Third parties

Special Needs Forum runs on Cloudflare for hosting and bot protection, and sign-in emails go out through an email delivery provider. Both process data only to provide those services.

Your choices

You can use a pseudonym and a private email address. To delete your account or posts, contact the moderators or reply to any sign-in email, and a moderator will handle it promptly.

Children

Special Needs Forum is for adults (18+). Special Needs Forum does not knowingly collect information from children. Special Needs Forum is a community about raising kids, not a community for them.
